There is an increase of up to 40 percent in tourist flows from Middle Eastern countries to Azerbaijan.
In January-May of this year, 81,075 people from the Middle East traveled to Azerbaijan.
That exceeds last year's corresponding indicator of 39 percent, according to the State Tourism Agency.
Currently, the Azerbaijani Tourism Bureau is participating in a series of events called Ahlan Arabia in Kuwait, Doha, and Dubai.
At meetings aimed at shaping and expanding bilateral relations, Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities were presented to local tourism companies.
