Azerbaijani citizens can travel to 72 countries without a visa
Azerbaijan has retained its 70th place in the Henley & Partners World Passport Index, published for the first quarter of 2025.
Russian citizens visiting Azerbaijan cannot stay for more than 90 days.
In the ranking table, Georgia shared 44th place with Moldova (122 visa-free destinations). Armenia also maintained its position in 74th place with 68 visa-free destinations.
This year, the Singaporean passport is the most powerful, with citizens of this country able to travel to 195 countries visa-free or with a visa on arrival.
Japan is in second place, with 193 destinations accessible without a visa for its citizens.
Finland, France, Italy, Germany, South Korea and Spain (192 countries and territories) are in third place. Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden share fourth place, with citizens of these countries able to travel to 191 countries visa-free or with a visa on arrival. Belgium, New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (190 countries) complete the top five.
The top ten include Australia, Greece (189 countries); Canada, Malta, Poland (188 countries); Czech Republic, Hungary (187 countries); Estonia, USA (186 countries); Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, UAE (185 countries).
Turkey and Russia ranked 46th in the ranking.
The index is based on exclusive and official data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which supports the world's largest and most accurate tourism database.
